Who Are we?

A pint-sized brewery and taproom in Albany, CA crafting small batch beers. Ocean View was the original name of Albany, CA from 1908-1909 after the city became independent from Berkeley. The name refers to the entire West Berkeley/Albany region and the brewery is named to reflect the rich history of the area. The beers reflect traditional styles and some new styles with a twist. 

We are family-owned, by Scott and Vonnie Davidson. You will often find us there with our two boys and our dogs! We work hard to bring you engaging experiences and great beers. Vonnie and her mom, Carrie, recently opened Kitchenette, the small kitchen portion of the property. Now, you can enjoy panini, bagels, coffee, smoothies, salads, and more with your beverage. With the new kitchen we are able to offer more beverages for your enjoyment: we now have wine & cider as well as non-alcoholic Kombucha, Italian Sodas, and more!

We are BIG on supporting other small businesses and our community. Visit a craft vendor fair, listen to local musicians, shop our merchandise -all of which is made by fellow small businesses!
